Volunteer Opportunities at PCNP

Will you become an InnKeeper?
We will be hosting families who are in between homes. We need your prayerful support. We need individuals, couples, and/or families who would have supper and early evening with our guests. We also need adults who would stay overnight. We need your help! Please contact Stow Lovejoy .

We also have a need for cooks (and cook helpers) to prepare meals for our guests--either for early morning breakfast or for the supper/evening meal. To find our more about volunteering, please contact Mary Anne Eggert .

Is Communion an important part of your worship experience?
Volunteers are needed to purchase communion elements and mail reminders to communion servers. If you would be willing to use your time to perform either of these functions, please contact Gina Voorhees .

Have you always wanted to be a Hollywood Director?
Direct two camera operators and a graphics person during the 9:30 AM worship service. This ministry provides our church members and those who must worship at home with a taped relay of the Traditional Service shown on TV-36 (Summit). Your commitment would be once a month. Camera persons are also needed for both the 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM services. Graphics person is needed at the 9:30 AM service. Contact Tony Lombardo or John Bishop to express your interest.

Would you like help make it possible for the Sunday Worship Service to reach the home-bound?
We need someone to take the video tape to Summit after the 9:30 AM Blended Traditional Service and set it up to run on TV-36. Contact Tony Lombardo or John Bishop to express your interest.

Are you familiar with Power Point?
We are looking for some volunteers to operate Power Point on a rotating basis at the 11:00 AM Worship Service. Contact Lisa Troutman to add your name to the schedule to serve every 4 to 6 weeks.

Would you like to help the hurting?
The Pastoral Care Ministries provides reception refreshments in Parish Hall following Memorial Services. Helpers are needed to assist in serving. This would require about three hours each time you are willing to serve. Please contact Alphra Cross if you have time to occasionally serve and minister in this way.

Do you like to cook?
Use your culinary gifts while serving the Lord by providing meals for the Deacon's Freezer. The meals are always greatly appreciated by those who need them due to temporary life situations such as death in the family, illness or other circumstances. Contact Betsy Menkes to sign up to prepare food and arrange to pick up disposable pans.

Do you have a green thumb?
Help beautify the church property by assisting with the planting of flowers, bulbs and seasonal plants, clearing of weeds and preparing beds. Contact Peggy Lesnewich to help.

Would you like to be an office "Angel?"
If you are able to help with any type of office work from filing, to copying, to computer input please call Christa Miller at 908-665-0050.

Do you have the gift of administration and a few hours twice a month?
The Worship Committee is looking for someone to compile and mail out communion server reminder letters twice a month. All the materials will be supplied and this can easily be done from home. Contact Joanne Dorrow or Gina Vorhees if you are interested.

Are you looking for a simple way to serve the Lord?
Volunteer to be an usher on Sunday mornings to welcome and seat people as they enter God's house. Contact Eivind Ramberg III .

Do you care about your neighbors and fellow Christians? Congregational Care is an opportunity to "do to others as you would have them do to you." Contact Colleen Fletcher .
