Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
Oh Lord, forgive me for being so proud,
that I could rethink a plan different
from what.You’ve allowed.

The Burial
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
I piled all my worries
in the graveyard
and buried them
one by one,
never to resurrect again.

Transformation
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. I Corinthians 13:12
My friend died today.
Hondas jockey down the highway,
the bronze sun rises
and ballads play on the radio.
Routines unchanged,
but she is changed.
This morning she glories
with You in paradise.
Far sooner than I,
you see the lover of your soul,
the lover of your soul,
blessed lucky lady.
