Ministries
The
Presbyterian Church at New Providence (PCNP) seeks to minister
to the needs of the congregation and the community at large.
In addition, financial and prayer support is extended to missionaries
serving around the world.
There
are numerous opportunities for anyone to get involved in ministering
to others whether it be traveling to Mexico on a short-term
mission trip or teaching Sunday school to children. Regardless
of a person's age there is a place for connecting at PCNP.
Children happily learn about God's love in Sunday school,
vacation Bible school and Youth Club. Teenagers find their
niche at numerous events and gatherings geared for their interests.
Adults can choose from a variety of classes, fellowship and
prayer opportunities.
The
various ministries are possible because people are willing
to share their gifts with others. From the beautiful music
heard each Sunday morning to the nurturing workers in the
nursery, the ministries function because of the dedication
of the ministry staff and many volunteers. Each
one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
1 Peter 4:10
Those
in need of care don't have to look far to find the love and
support of a Christian community. Whether you are suffering
the pain of divorce, the fear of unemployment, the grief of
losing a loved one through death or the trauma of a major
illness, someone is ready to help and serve you by showing
God's love.

out the opportunities available at PCNP to become involved
in God's work.
Be
shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving
as overseers-not because you must, but because you are willing,
as God wants you to be
