Dr. Jeffrey Ebert--Senior Pastor

Jeff Ebert joined PCNP as our Senior Pastor on Easter of 1999. He has an extensive background in youth ministry, evangelism, adult discipleship, counseling and pastoral leadership. Jeff has a passion to bring Jesus Christ into real life through teaching and preaching that is exciting, relevant and challenging. Possessing a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary, Jeff is able to make Biblical principles relevant to his audiences.
He and his wife, Donna, have one son, Jonathan. For fun Jeff enjoys family bike rides, vacations in Vermont, writing fiction, reading adventure novels and teaching Japanese martial arts at the Berkeley Heights YMCA.

Dr. Michael Flavin--Associate Pastor

Mike Flavin has been in full-time youth ministry for 22 years and our Associate Pastor since 1990. He works primarily with our student ministries. Mike has a heart for seeing students come to know Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. Mike also gives leadership to a number of short-term mission projects each year, including high school and junior high school mission trips, as well as a family mission trip to Mexico.
Mike is a graduate of Bemidji State University with a B.S. Degree, received a Master of Divinity from Bethel Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Counseling from Eastern Seminary.Mike is married to Amy, a marriage and family therapist, and has two children, Andrew and Emily, a cat and a collie. His passions are watching his kids in sports and music, drinking Starbucks coffee, going on short-term mission trips to Mexico and playing percussion in the church worship band.
Ian Rankine--Associate Pastor

Ian Rankine joined the PCNP staff to lead the dynamic area of Adult Ministries. He was born and grew up in a small town in Central Scotland. Ian graduated in 1992 from St. Mary's College, University of St. Andrews, Scotland with a Bachelor of Divinity and completed two additional years of study at New College, University of Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1995 Ian was licensed as a minister of the Gospel in the Church of Scotland.
Following his licensing, Ian served an 18 month required internship in the Historic Parish church of Burntisland, Fife, Scotland. In December of 1996 he went to North Carolina with his wife to begin work in the PC(USA). Ian has served in Bethesda Presbyterian Church, Aberdeen NC, as Intern Student Pastor, and also served as Chaplain Associate at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. Ian served as Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, NC for 3 years and most recently as Pastor of the Antioch Presbyterian Church, Red Springs, NC. Ian's wife, Maureen Paterson, is also an ordained minister in the PC(USA). They have two sons, Gregor and Angus.


Colleen Fletcher--Minister of Pastoral Care

Colleen has served as Minister of Pastoral Care for 19 years. She is responsible for the Congregational Care ministries of the church. She plans, organizes and oversees the Lay Pastoral Care Ministries and Deacon activities. Each person in the church has an assigned Deacon and Elder who care for their spiritual and physical needs. Colleen oversees the Deacon services such as a food closet, blood drive, handyman repair, and financial needs including financial counseling.
Colleen also coordinates support groups such as DivorceCare and GriefShare. She is available by appointment for counseling and prayer. Her desire is to enable others to sense the presence of Christ in their current situation and to bring comfort and encouragement to those going through difficult times. Colleen was born in Louisiana and worked out of The Overlook Hospital Chaplain's office before coming on staff at PCNP. She has two grown daughters and lives in Berkeley Heights. Colleen enjoys nature (especially animals) and can be found "working out" and playing tennis in her free time.

Christopher Fortin - Director of Worship & Music

Chris, born and raised in New Jersey, attended Westminster Choir College as a double major in Sacred Music and Music Education. He has performed with the New York Philharmonic, New Jersey Symphony and the Philadelphia Orchestra as a member of both the Westminster Symphonic Choir and the world renowned Westminster Choir. As a vocalist, Chris has worked with the Spoleto Festival Orchestra at the Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, SC, including performances of the Jenufa by Leos Janacek, as well as touring with the Westminster Choir.

He has also performed with the Berkshire Opera Company in Pittsfield, MA in the production of The Magic Flute by Mozart. He began leading worship at age 15 and has a strong sense of God's call on his life as a music professional. He is a gifted organist and pianist with extensive experience directing traditional vocal and hand bell choirs. Chris plays the keyboard and is fluent in contemporary worship and praise.Chris is also a published composer who writes on a weekly basis for worship services, composing hymns, anthems and psalm responses. During worship at PCNP, Chris performs both vocal and instrumental music.

Christine Voegeli - Director of Children's Ministries

Christine has been with PCNP since 1999 as Director of Children's Ministries and has brought many new ideas and programs to our Church family. Christine oversees the numerous programs for children at the church. Sunday School, midweek Kid's Club and Youth Club, and summer Vacation Bible School are just some of the opportunities for children to grow in Christ's love. Born and raised in New Jersey, Christine is a graduate of Gordon College and Princeton Theological Seminary.
For fun Christine spends her time writing children's stories, rollerblading, and enjoying time with friends. Christine has a passion for Jesus and a great love for His children!
