CityTeam Ministries is a feeding ministry to the poor and homeless of Chester, PA and the surrounding Delaware Valley. CityTeam also provides nutrition classes to the general public and recovery classes in a residential environment. They partner with local churches to serve meals. Al has been the Food Service Manager since 1994 and has been responsible for planning meals, supervising volunteers, and procuring donations of food and equipment to feed thousands of poor. Jeanne O'Connor, Al's wife of 15 years, has in the past reached out to neighborhood single mothers with infants. This small home-based outreach expanded into a program of CityTeam called Neighborhood Outreach Program, which serves over 500 women and 3,000 children. While currently caring for family needs, she hopes to go back to school and to work with women who are victims of domestic violence.
