Since 1889 Market Street Mission has been presenting the saving power of Jesus Christ and discipling people for victorious Christian living. Today the Mission ministers to the homeless, helpless and hopeless of Northern New Jersey by meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs such as food, shelter and clothing. To enable men to lead responsible and productive lives, the 6-9 month residential drug and alcohol recovery program counsels, educates and trains them for a life free of addiction. Each year Market Street provides over 60,000 meals, 24,000 nights of lodging, and thousands of articles of clothing.

Market Street Mission uses a proven, structured program to help people lead responsible and productive lives. The work of Market Street Mission, a non-denominational Christian organization, relies solely on the faithful support of the individuals, businesses and churches that regularly contribute to the Mission's cause.
