New York Fellowship is a ministry to people in lower Manhattan including business people, sports people and youth. B.J. remains flexible to the Holy Spirit in his ministry, which has evolved over the years. He was strategically positioned to minister following 9-11 and continues to work with the local firefighters and widows on spiritual recovery. The New York Fellowship was started in 1969 by a group of businessmen meeting together for mutual spiritual encouragement. A core group still continue to meet but the ministry has expanded to include full-time staff. They now provide spiritual support to professionals, chaplaincy to the New York professional sports teams, outreach to foreign diplomats and government leaders, and internship programs for youth. Services include outreach to "at-risk" inner city youth, a "Kids to Camp" scholarship program, crisis pregnancy services and recently a Russian adoption service. The New York Fellowship was instrumental in the founding of Amistad Mission, an orphanage in Bolivia.
