Barbara Yandell provides training for those reaching the unreached with special emphasis on Muslims. She mobilizes, mentors, trains and equips churches and individuals to be successfully engaged in cross-cultural mission among unreached people groups. She has a focus on people groups in the "10-40" window (area between the 10th and 40th parallel which includes the Middle East, Northern Africa and other areas heavily dominated by Muslims). She has a mission-equipping ministry called "Hope for the Nations", which is a fellowship of young adults seeking God's call to provide hope for the world through Jesus Christ. She also has a partnership with reformed pastors in Cuba that trains and equips them to plant churches, evangelize and develop future leaders. Barbara was part of PCNP in the late 1980s while she studied for the pastorate but then transitioned into missionary work.

Barbara is also a teacher of the Perspectives in World Missions course www.perspectives.org, a dynamic course in which Christians discover what God is doing around the world and are challenged to consider their part in Christ's Mission. This course is offered throughout the year more than 150 times in North America. Dr. Billy Graham says "There is no class of which I know that will inform, inspire and motivate Christians for world evangelization like the Perspectives Course … It will stretch your mind, warm your heart, and stir your will."
